They look very nice for first models, however I have a few pointers. First off, your parchment and scrolls look far too brown. I would take a bone or white color, and go over them with that to make them look more like yellowed paper. Same goes for the little servo skull. You also might want to try doing a few shades of blue on the swords to make them look more like the energy weapons they are. You could possibly highlight the metal with a lighter color too if you wanted, to bring out more depth. Another thing is basing. You should probably paint the base brown or green, and add some grass or rocks. Even small pebbles from outside look good when glued down. But they do look very nice for being first models, they just look unfinished. Great work so far and I can see with a few additions they would look finished and great. That daemon head with the blood looks fantastic! You're on your way to being a good painter! If you have any other questions you can ask me or other dakkians.

You are a very neat painter, which is really good! You have far cleaner painting than many people I know who have been playing/painting for years. I think the big things are adding more color variation into the models and basing, as was said. I'd also get a hobby hand drill and drill the barrels out(practice on some you're not using first), it makes a world of difference! You are off to a great start!

Looks great brother! Need some ink wash to help with your lines and highlights otherwise great! Jealous of your talent.

Echoing what the others have said Excellent start, very neat initial work (which is a good skill to keep up!!). tips/ next steps would be to add more colour variations and perhaps have a look at some of the tutorials on this site. Challenge yourself with goals and aims and your skills will come on bounds.

Start off with a dark brown, then wash it with agrax earthshade. Then highlight it with a light brown, and paint a color like bleached bone over that (or drybrush zhandri dust). Then you can highlight with a bit of white if you want.
