There is a lack of LotR models around here so i would like to share with you one of my favorite models which i have finally got around to painting. I don't currently play LotR/ Hobbit, but i have really enjoyed painting Boromir and mayb get started on a small Osgiliath themed force including Faramir and some rangers.

Believe it or not, it's one of GW's best rulesets. However, they've driven it into the ground with the latest Hobbit stuff (look at Azog's prosthetic in the film, then look at the miniature).
