Looking good tomcat. If I may make one suggestion, and this is just on a personal preference, it could do with some sort of a spot colour. I know you have the yellow, which is quite bright, but I'm still finding, IMHO, that the yellow, steel and black are blending in to provide an overall muted model. Now this may be your intention, in which case you've done it very well, but for me, I'd just add in a few hints of colour, maybe a splash of red here and there to catch the eye. Also, how about a bit freehand on the tread guards - 'Iron Within, Iron Without'?

Other than the above, which are all just my own personal preferences, it's looking pretty spectacular Just curious, but did you paint it with an airbrush or by hand?

Now with 100% more blog: 'Beyond the Wall'

Point taken about the spot colour, and i will probably use more colour when i detail it. oh and its all hand painted, i do own a spray gun and airbrush, but theyre set up for automotive work. my compressor would probably blow the minis off the table. lol.

Tried to freehand the unbreakable litany, but im not sure it looks good enough.
Opinions please, as i've put a huge amount of work into this thing and don't want to ruin it with my poor freehand skills

Looks good. But when i saw it I immediately thought about iron sheet bolted to that surface. Maybe you will be able to actually etch it in .5 mm slab of plasticard? ... and add some rivets, seals of purity, wash it nicely...

Just a thought. I really like balance of that Land Raider. Colourwise.

Good Luck tomcat31!

Cheers

I wouldn't think they would write it in English.

perhaps translating it to Gothic.

I believe you can get transfer paper that you can print out to make something like that easier though i don't have experience with it.

As a metal worker we used to write stuff on steel with soap stone which is white. i think you can do litanies in white and would pop alot more on the steel color than black.

Aargh. It was a pain to do in english. Translating it into latin or gothic, would be a nightmare. Thats not to say i wont try though. Maybe on the other side so i have a handy translation.
If anyone knows of a good translation site, please let me know as its a real nut ache doing it one word at a time.
