My riptide fell on the floor and his arm has broken on the joint I've tried using plastic glue but it doesn't work any ideas?

Try pinning it.
Drill a small small hole in both pieces.
Snip off a small piece of a paperclip, short enough to be able to put in both holes without any gap.
Dry fit pieces.
Crazy glue in one hole and add the pin.
Let dry.
Dab of crazy glue on pin end, and insert into other hole, making sure you get it placed in the right position that you want it.

I am using industrial superglue for my heavy duty assembling, it sticks anything together.
And with everything, I mean everything! So watch out where the glue goes.

Try using greenstuff to mold the joint together.

If you're going to go the drill route, I'd advise using a dremel, as you're going to need, like, a 0.75mm bit. A standard cordless drill just often doesn't have bits that go that small.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

If you do not have experience using a dremel I would advise against it. Use a Pin vice instead of a dremel, the dremel is too tough to use if you do not have any experience with it.

True true on the drilling. I should have mentioned using a small hand drill. It turns the bit with your fingers.

If the kit is polystyrene then drilling and pinning with polystyrene rod cemented in with liquid poly cement will provide the strongest join, if the part is wide enough.

If the joint is wrecked beyond repair, it may be possible to replace it with Gundam customisation parts like this:

There are various types available which are made for repair and customisation of robot models like the Riptide.

I'd suggest for a break like that, a short rod that's the inner hole thickness and then bulk out the exposed end either with card or green stuff. It'll help reinforce it and give somewhere else to glue to.

Just a handful...
