I have an airbrush, several paints and brushes at my disposal. how exactly do you recommend achieving this color? how many shades? any washes?

the white areas seem to be a dheneb stone/ rakarth flesh

heres what I think. He base coats in black then uses two shades of a light off white color. he then edge highlights the black with gray

heres what I dont get. the joints, are they done post-airbrush? did he use a metallic on them? is it just a combination of washes?

The white areas seem to be Rakarth Flesh shaded with grey. The Black areas seem to be a blacky metallic.

tried asking the artist to no avail :(

plan on airbrushing as much as possible. and I use minitaire paints if that helps. If I could find a tutorial my day would be made.

gonna bump as whole army is ready to be painted. just looking for a little help.
