For an upcoming Apocalypse weekend I have been looking at beefing up my Tide of Pestilence (Nurgle) army so I started looking about for something big to add into the mix. I really like the idea of having Nurgle daemons to support my ever expanding Death guard.
I looked at the FW Greater Daemon of Nurgle but couldn't afford him, the I found this one by Maximini. He's roughly the same size as the FW one, to my mind a very nice sculpt and also came in at over £40 cheaper than the FW equivalent.

I really enjoyed painting him.

I had at go at wet blending for the first time and although it didn't entirely go to plan, I really like the overall effect.

That is very cool. I like how you have painted this model. Using this as a Great Unclean one is a good choice. If I get a Nurgle army up one day I may use this model.
