Hey guys, I thought I would start a little bloggy-thready thing about my current commission at Golem Painting Studios.

Those are a good looking set of minis.

The wraithguard look perfect in every way, and I can always find something wrong with a model. They really look like you abducted them from Games Workshop's showcase.

The Dire Avengers look the same, but with 1 exception. The grey highlights around the eyes stand out and look bad. The Dire Avenger at the end of the right doesn't have that problem, though. You should correct the other 4 so that they look like that one.

Cheers guys, there is more to come soon :-) as for the highlights around the eyes, I just don't think it's photographed particularly well.

Hey folks. A quick update. Some Wild Riders. The client wanted 15 of them, all using the current Guardian bodies, because, let's face it, the original rider is pretty dated. Unfortunately I only got a pic of 5 of them. Enjoy!

I like what I see. Simple color scheme while still attractive. Pics are a bit blurry though. Not sure if that is resolution or a shaky hand.

The only negative I have is that the bikes should have slight variations of the stripes. Besides that, nice and clean.

Well, as they are all freehand, I assure you they are all slightly different :p

It all looks pretty awesome to me! Really not helping me resist the urge to start Eldar. My two cents would be maybe add some highlights to the bristles of the Dire Avenger plumes. The red segments seem too plain.

edit. or maybe you have already done that and I just can not see it well in the picture.
