I'll be using this Grey Knights Henchmen as a Mystic. I still need to get some script written onto the book/seals, and then varnish it, but he's essentially done. I'm pretty happy with the red robe and really like how the torch came out. I think the flames were a blend of 5-7 colors from base to tip. The yellow tanks on his back don't look so rough in person, but I should have probably done them in a few more layers. Next time. I just can't wait to get back home and set up a dedicated painting station! So for on the road with a brush and a bottle of water I don't think it's too bad.

What do you think?

looking really good for on the road! your pictures aren't the greatest which doesnt help but other than that really liking the feel.

For the scripts and such, I recommend a fine tip pen. they are fantastic for words and symbols as they dont spread like a brush

Also, have you used any washes? finding it hard to tell. as the robes look like they were blended by hand. Was gona suggest perhaps a wash on the tanks and staff.

Favourite Game: When your Warboss on bike wrecks 3 vehicles simply by HoW - especially when his bike is a custom monowheel.

You need to thin your paints. Also, tone down the white on the =][= on his chest, it's too vivid and clashes against everything else.

Colour choices wouldn't be my first but looks fine to me.
