I bought a Finecast Commander Farsight model and was very pleased to see that it had no defects whatsoever. I assembled and primed the model and set it aside for painting. A day or two later, a friend asked to play a game and I threw my models, including Farsight, into my car before going to work. There they sat for hours.

I was very disappointed to find that Farsight's normally dynamic pose had sort of drooped in the heat. Now, I could have just heated it up and fixed the pose, but that doesn't solve my problem of wanting to be able to leave this in the car all day.

So I hacked it up, bought a Broadside for parts and used a leftover Riptide shield generator I got off eBay. I'm playing a custom Tau Cadre, so this is intended to be a Farsight counts-as. I did want to keep the same pose though.

Here go some pics. Tell me what you think.

love your paint scheme....looks great!

You also did a very good job making the broadside suit more dynamic...very nice indeed.

It's actually a super quick color scheme. I'm working on a tutorial for how to choose and paint super quick table quality like this.
