Normally I paint to a poor tabletop standard - if they look good from 2 meters away, they'll pass. I don't have a great love of painting models myself (although I like admiring amazingly painted miniatures), but I take a bit more care when it comes to one-off characters and models, such as this warboss. When I know there is a single one of a model in my army, the paintjob stands out from the rest of my models. This was the first one of these 'properly painted' figures and I have recently touched it up as at the time I painted it, I only had a limited palette of colours.

I present to you, kruma the big boss.

Please don't comment about basing - it is another job on the list that's as big as the master of the march's!

1. Go to FLGS on a 40K game night.
2. Announce to no one in particular "I have over 10,000 points of Space Marines".
3. Sit back and watch as some 30-ish Neckbeard who still lives with his parents not only disputes your claim, but goes on to describe his 30,000 points of Blood Angels and how he has been playing since Rogue Trader days... And yet you will have never seen him either play 40K or that army.
4. From here, you have several options. Continue the conversation, or just end it. Either way, I guarantee you will waste 1+ hour of your life talking to this guy. Have fun!

I think you did a decent job with him... I won't comment about the basing!

A Heretic may see the truth and seek redemption. He may be forgiven his past and will be absolved in death. A Traitor can never be forgiven. A Traitor will never find peace in this world or the next. There is nothing as wretched or as hated in all the world as a Traitor. - Cardinal Khrysdam, Instructum Absolutio

Looks pretty good dude, although I'd suggest a good wash. Agrax earthshade is a good go to wash for orks.
