My boyfriend has just finished painting a unit of 5 Grey Knight Troops and has asked me to list them on here. These models are well painted, well based and interestingly posed giving them character. I am not exactly sure what the weapon options are called but they look pretty cool Models are exactly as seen in pictures, let me know what you think!

Well they're missing backpacks for starters, but for a first attempt they're not bad paint jobs.

The base edges are hella cool.

DA-YUM! Those base edges are amazing! Good work all around, but the base edges are the detail that really makes them unique, for me. Most of the time work like that comes out terrible, but you've done a wonderful job attending to detail here.

I do like how the top two pics look like the other four guys are ambushing the guy in the middle. He looks shocked as hell, too.

I didn't like the way the backpacks made them look, they end up too bulky, except hammer guy, it suits him.
Do you think they look better with backpacks?

Honestly, I thought the SAME thing when I started the hobby. Eventually, I put them on my guys for a tournament (since one player threatened to claim to everyone I was playing with an 'unfinished' army if I didn't have packs on them) and I think I've come around. Once you see them all kitted out that way, I think it looks far more natural. It gives them a much bulkier profile, which for the Grey Knights gives a much needed sense of gravitas.

I like either idea, backpacks or not, but the edge of the bases looks really nice great idea.

A Heretic may see the truth and seek redemption. He may be forgiven his past and will be absolved in death. A Traitor can never be forgiven. A Traitor will never find peace in this world or the next. There is nothing as wretched or as hated in all the world as a Traitor. - Cardinal Khrysdam, Instructum Absolutio
