On a Canoptek Spyder's Waiting List

Welcome all, to the kabal of The Twisted Flesh! I hope you are mentally and physically prepared for the horrors that wait below in the darkest depths of the Commorragh! Now, on to "serious business". The reason I created this thread was so I could not only show off my "beautiful" creatures, but it was also so I could ask for advice on how I could make my models table-top worthy. I suppose I should show off one W.I.P model (and hopefully gain some knowledge on how to sculpt and paint [which I hope doubles as a tutorial for others]). Now, let's begin! (Edit: Woops! I forgot to ask, what kind of color scheme should I choose? I was thinking of using a pale white and neon green or neon cyan color...)

First off, welcome to Dakka.
The image is pretty blurry so its hard to say much.
If you are looking to stay traditional with DE I'd stick with dark purples and blacks.
Good Luck.

Thankfully I salvaged some parts from a broken Talos Pain Engine...
I instructed my kabalite warriors to capture some live "volunteers" to join my carnival of modified flesh and steel. I had instructed them to raid a space hulk and capture as many living beings as possible. Of course I had a particular interest in these strange creatures known as "genestealers". My kabalite warriors were capable of capturing an astonishing amount of said creatures. So after carefully (PAINFULLY) dissecting one I learned many things about their bodies and what makes them "tick". Afterwards, I quickly made a device to disconnect them from their hive fleet and inject a substance into their brain that allows us to command them with ease. They make great chefs and waiters!
And here is something we hope you really like! - Haemonculus Squiddy
