From Avatars of War announcement:

After the great success that was the limited offer of Dwarf Pathfinders along with an exclusive dwarf miniature we have decided to repeat the offer with the new Thunder Warriors plastic regiment.

For the duration of the stock allocated for this offer (about 200 boxes) you can get the box of 20 Dwarf Thunder Warriors for 30 € (the RRP is 35 €) and get for free an exclusive miniature of a Master Gunner with two pistols (available only through this offer).

You can find more details about this offer here

AND:

The injection mold for the plastic Corrupters of the Apocalypse is alredy being tooled! Plastic injection tooling takes its time so the box will not be available until December.

In the meantime we have prepared a limited pre-order offer that we hope will make you want to get your Corrupters today even if December is still quite away: For the duration of this offer (limited to 400 boxes) you can get a special box of 24 Corrupters of the Apocalypse (161 plastic parts) for 30 € (the normal sale box will be 16 miniatures for 35 €) together with this exclusive miniature of a Lord of Petilence with great weapon (available only through this offer).

The new Corrupters figures mantain the same aesthetic that was so well accepted but thanks to the possibilities that offer plastic injection the box comes now with many more separate pieces for assembling or using in conversions (heads; arms; legs; weapons...).

You can find more details about this offer here

I hope you find it as interesting as I do, the quality, the price, plus get exclusive miniature....all make this an unbeatable offer !!!

Bye

Dwarf army Indiegogo Campaign and plastic:

The Dwarf army Indiegogo campaign was designed to produce the regiments in Warcast. As some of you may already know, after months of attempts & frustration, we had to discard this material for regiments that require a wide distribution, and switch to plastic injection molds for these regiments.

Today, there are already three regiments of Dwarves available in plastic, and more will in the future.

The problem is that the perks for the campaign were calculated for warcast production, not plastic. While plastic injection production needs a much greater initial investment (about a hundred times greater than warcast!) eventually, once the injection molds are amortized, plastic parts are cheaper to produce than the warcast.

Therefore, the price of our plastic regiment boxes is chepaer than the warcast indiegogo prices. So backers of the campaign would be now paying more for plastic regiments than non participants. That should definitely not be this way.

To fix this problem, we decided to apply the following rule:

Each miniature you got in the campaign can be changed for 1 waracst figure or 1.5 plastic figures.

That is, if you got 40 figures during the campaign, you can exchange them for 40 warcast figures or 60 plastic figures, or 10 warcast figures and 45 plastic figures, and so on.

This way, those who took part in the campaign can still get warcast figures if they prefer resin over plastic, and can get plastic regiments at a better price than non-participants (including any of the available offers).

Thanks for reading!

I think this should probably be added to the AoW N&R thread:

Although, honestly it might be better to turn over a new leaf . But yeah, the figures look great.

I'd love to get those Corrupters, but this would all be reliant on AOW actually delivering.

I put in an order for a unit of the Thunder Warriors and some Rangers. Lets see how this goes. I have high hopes... Although I have set my 40 day warning clock for Paypal just in case...

Are they using the good plastic now?

It's good plastic, yes. Nothing wrong with pvc for mid-scale production.

AoW had shipping problems with Warcast (resin products), but I think with the pvc-plastic these problems no longer exist, my dwarf rangers box arrived in 5 days

Kind of defeats the purpose of them being exclusive
