So I'm thinking of converting my daemon prince but kind of short on ideas. Anyone got any? I'm thinking of adding a couple of extra arms and maybe an extra head but that's all I can think of.

Also, apologies if this is the wrong thing to be asking on this forum.

some questions to help you pin down what you might like to do

So what do you want your Daemon to be armed with? Have you thought of what its background might be? Is it aligned with any particular god? Is it aligned with any of the established legions or other chaos factions? Do you want it to look humanoid or totally bizarre? Heavy armour or no armour? Do you have any bits or kits to use that would limit the scope of the conversion? Are you planning on buying specific parts for use in the conversion? Are there any other bits of fiction, anime, manga, film or randomly found pictures that you particularly like and would like to incorporate in the model? Where will the Daemon be? Why is it there? What is its favourite colour, and what is the in-flight speed of an unladen swallow?

Once you have a solid concept of what you're after it will help you find appropriate bits and help with the posing of the miniature. Otherwise you're in danger of just sticking random bits together that don't go well together.

When I made my DP conversion, I first worked out the back story. In my case, a Lord who'd had bionics in his 'mortal' life, and as a joke by Tzeentch, was void of those limbs when he ascended. So, long story short, trip to the Hellforge, half-metal daemon prince.

Thanks, I think you just saved my daemon prince from becoming a mess of random parts.

I did 3 conversions myself using a single daemon prince box. Was one of the most enjoyable of my conversions. The first was my nurse prince who was the purpose i bought the box. Then slapped together a quick goro prince, figured the prince of underworld from mortal kombat would work for a daemon prince of khorne. Lastly with the few left over parts i took a good bit of the green stuffs and sculptured a tzeentch daemon prince. Hopefully it will help with ideas.

I was kind of thinking of a goro-ish daemon prince with the extra arms idea. Didn't know where to put the arms though, especially considering it has wings.

With the goro i cut out part of the back and bridged the gap with the green stuffs and the arms which should give you the room for the wings

I already attached the wings so this may be a little difficult, but I think I can find room for it. Thanks!

It might not really look that impressive, (this is my first time trying a conversion), but I did intend to post it eventually. Maybe not in this thread though (so I don't bother anyone with threadmancy). I think these things go in the showcase forum so if I do, it'll go there. At any rate, thanks again!

I'm looking to make some conversions too, but what is this goro stuff? I would just like some clarity because I think that the four arms looks awesome, but is the goro like an action figure or something? and where could I find them? Thanks!

Goro is a 4 armed dude you fight in the Mortal Kombat games series you could probably get a model of him somewhere pretty cheap
