So the first pics are my first models. The last pic of the dark angle with plasma cannon is my last. It takes forever to paint a model, sometimes I feel myself rushing to get done. I haven't messed with basing much yet, I prefer to get the painting to an acceptable level first. any feedback is appreciated, and I will try to post more pics of minis. Also, could someone tell me what color does the heavy metal guys use for shading the death wing terminators? It looks like an orange brown, but I am not sure.

Fantastic work for your first models. Keep it up and try to add new techniques as you go.

Wow. A good clean start dude. Far better than my first attempts. Just keep on practising and experimenting,
Try more shading and layering and you'll be incredible before you know it. A good tip is to try tinting your basecoats. Add white for highlights and black for lowlights( shaded areas)

Tri, I think they probably just go with a brown ink over the base layer of the Dark Angel Termies, something like Seraphim Sepia maybe?
I really like your stuff, how long have you been painting?

I don't know how long I have been painting, but I have painted about 40 miniatures. I first started with D&D, but that was mainly painting from the pot with no technique. But, I stopped playing D&D pretty much right after I started due to time, and put my paint supplies away. About a month ago I pulled them out to start painting these sets I picked up about a year ago.since these miniatures cost real money, I decided I should learn to paint.
