I am looking at building an objective marker for my CSM Iron Warrior army, and one of the ideas I had was to crucify an Imperial Space Marine on a scenic rocky base (Imperial Fist naturally).
The question I have is what marine parts would be best for that crucified look? A normal head and torso obviously (just a bit battered and bloody to represent torture before he was strung up) but what about the arms and legs?

Any reasonably straight arms can be spread outward with a bit of trimming at the back (hidden by the pad), if you're willing to sculpt new ribbing to fill the resulting gap in the armpit. For the legs, I've seen pilots' legs used, before (Landspeeder crew, if memory serves). There's a bend in the knees, but it's pretty slight. If they're bound at the ankles or have their feet nailed independently, it actually looks more natural than perfectly straight legs, IMO.

With the arm's I'd recommend shaving part of the top of the arm and greenstuffing new ribbon. It's actually one of the easier sculpting jobs you can do. The old school biker legs would work really well as they are slightly spread and the feet look like they're being pulled by gravity.
I cheated on the legs when I made this a few years back.

When you say cruicifiction, do you mean on a Christian cross? like Jesus?
The pose in that picture would be ace to hang off a big chaos star.
Which would be so much cooler and look a bit more in the right place in 40k.

FTFY There's really only one type of crucifixion, as far as I know (at least speaking literally). While the image/story is of primary concern to Christians, the event you're talking about was a Roman execution of a Jew - nothing particularly Christian about it, in its own context. Some might consider it in poor taste, though, nowadays, since that same association is so widely held (and very strongly formed, in some cases). Whatever your take on that issue, Roman influence abounds when it comes to Space Marines - I wouldn't consider a cross particularly out of place, since they (the Romans, not the (Chaos) Space Marines) are really the ones that made it an institution, as forms of execution go.
The chaos star probably would look cool, but Iron Warriors don't seem all that... well, chaos-y, to me. At least not in their iconography. They use the star, obviously, but it always seems secondary to the helmet icon/hazard stripes/requisite spikes. I feel like a twisted, spike-laden, mechanical cross feels more characterful than a big chaos star, but that may just be me. Now that I think about it, that could be downright badass. I'm picturing a rack and pinion system on the horizontal beam where the arms are bound/impaled- it lifts and separates, like a murderous Wonderbra. Man, now I want to build one...

The sunguinor already has the perfect pose and you could also use it as an objective marker for loyalist marines (Like a search and rescue sort of thing).
Seems like it makes it a lot easier since you just have to forgo attaching the wings and wind a bit of wire about the wrists.

I am thinking something like the chaos star would be a better fit.
Does anyone have a picture of such a thing?
On the other hand, despite being Iron Warriors, my army is primarily going to be followers of Slaanesh, so does anyone have ideas on how throw in a bit of Slaaneshy influence as well?
Just enough to give a hint of the mark present in the army, but not full on tentacles and what not that the Emperors Children would be.
