This is from the November White Dwarf, Clan Raukaan is an Iron Hands codex supplement set for digital release in November. Here are some of the details mentioned
-Iron Hands companies are named after the clans of Medusa, and Clan Raukaan is the largest of these.
-Battles vs chapters arch rival- The Slaanesh Prince the Saphire King
-Rules for fielding Clan Raukaan including the standard;
Chapter Relics,
Apocalypse Datasheets,
Stratagems for Planetstrike, Cities of Death
Altar of War

Kardan Stronos is also mentioned as the Iron Father of Clan Raukaan, but might just be part of the background.

Seems kinda soon for a second space marine supplement. Take it with as much salt as your doctor recommends.

At least that is reasonably likely, as opposed to some of Natfka's other predictions.

I think it's too early. We would be getting two supplements for the same codex back to back.

And Pretre, Natfka gets the rumor tracker for this, not me, right?

I could see it. It would also tie in with FW's current releases that are coming for IH's. Plus it helps push Marines for the next few months till after christmas without having to release models. And then we see a new codex in January

Dunno.

Nobody had anything on Sentinels of Terra until literally Games Day. Everyone was all about White Scars, etc..

And I would think that "leaks" from GW Digital Editions will be hard to obtain at the best of times. There're no printers, no shipping, no colour-testers going from the UK to China and back again, no sculptors working on minis to go with it, no tooling, no stores that need to be informed to make room for new stocks.

Digital is literally 10 or so people sitting in Nottingham. How's anybody going to ever get a rumour out of there (and not be caught?).

I'm a TINY bit bummed that it's for Clan Raukaan and not all IH. I was going to make Clan Sorrgal, but since it's an IH supplement, I'll most likely end up using it.

The fluff is Raukaan. You can certainly use it for any Clan you want...

Mmm..good point. At the very least I MIGHT put a Raukaan Clan emblem instead of a Sorrgal Clan for named characters. Just for the purposes of accurate modelling. But I'll probably just a make a counts-as until there's a Sorrgal Clan Supplement (if ever).

Oh, and also from /tg/, the apparent 'Chaos Collection' cover;

Wait, it's just one of those random doodles that are like footnotes, but this time it's black and white. Also, it be pretty badass if you could get Terminator sergeants, that or give sergeants/characters servo arms...

So not even in their supplement will IH get special characters?

Is this now a sick running joke with GW?

Might want to wait until it is a little more than a rumor before queuing up the outrage.

Ohh cool another loyalist supplement, I'm so glad they get two unique supplements before Chaos gets something other than "Black Legion". I mean I sure don't want to have better rules for Night Lords or Word Bearers or any of the 4 Cult Legions.

Good call GW

The Farsight Enclave supplement would like a word with you.

This is great, though. Makes me wonder if they'll do supplements of the other clans, as it seem the Loyalist supplements are focusing on companies rather than entire chapters.

With so many loyalist chapters, I don't really see them revisiting relatively minor ones (ie not Big 4) like IH. (Even though they are from RT).

As I said in the IF thread, I am willing to put money on the fact they they are focusing on single companies only to aid the narrative. Pretty sure the rules will be usable across the army.

So far both supplements focus on Standard Tactical companies, which are the foundation of any chapter. It's not like they are putting out 9th company rules.

And I'll dial back the outrage on the special character thing. But seriously, if they don't.....

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Ugh, seriously, why are they so insistent on shoehorning in this idiotic Stronos background? And why can't they manage even a single Iron Hands-related -anything- without retconning the hell out of stuff - Stronos has knob-all to do with Raukaan, if they were going to bother focusing on that particular clan company you'd think they'd at least stick to the bloody details from the novel focusing specifically on that clan they only published a wee while back, since if the Raukaan name has any pull with fans at all it's because of their portrayal in that very book.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?

Hmmm, I like where this is going, but I hope GW doesn't change too much of what they've recently established. Raukaan Clan is probably a good idea, since it was the clan highlighted in the recent BL book (although GW switched the clan symbols around). And as much as I'd like to see Stronus with some cool rules, the SM codex made it clear he was of Garrsak Clan, but that might not matter if he's treated as a defact CM then any clan can take him. Either way, I'll be interested to see what comes of this!

Is Novemeber too far off from Christmas for us to nickname the release of these two supplements "Fistmas"? (In the style of Nidvember.)

I've not seen that art before, not that I'm the keeper of 40k art, and it looks a little too good to be a hoax... so hopefully this is true.

The Black Legion supplement should be renamed to "Elites of the Black Legion" or "Abbaddon's Chosen" or whatever else, because that's what it is. It's actually terrible for representing the Black Legion as a whole, because it only focuses on the elites (for one thing, every one who can take it must take "Veterans of the Long War", which the supplement itself states Is not the case for the actual Legion).

What should ACTUALLY be done with the Chaos Space Marines is rename that supplement to "Elites of the Black Legoin" or whatever, and then release a new codex which has Chapter tactics just like Codex Space Marines does, and also lets you choose loyalist chapter tactics for it, to represent Chaos Marines that are successors of loyalist chapters. And then any Chaos Space Marine supplements should be just like the loyalist ones. "Elites of the Black Legion". "Blood Gorgons". "Sons of Malice."

Is there an Iron Hands supplement? No! There's a Clan Raukan supplement! Is there an Imperial Fists supplement? No! It's "Sentinels of Terra".

Chaos Space Marines should be the same. Should there be a Word Bearers supplement? NO! There should be a "Third Brotherhood" supplement, because Word Bearers should already be represented in the main codex using Legion Tactics: Word Bearers, and a supplement should instead focus on a subset of them.

If the Space Marines get a big huge enough codex that it represents their chapters, and thus their supplements involve subsets of those chapters, then Chaos Marines should get the same. Codex: Chaos Marines should be able to represent all Chaos Marine warbands with that same level of detail ("Chapter Tactics". Perhaps renamed to Legion Tactics? Whatever) and their supplements too should involve subsets/warbands of those legions/chapters.

It'll never happen (at least until 7th Edition), but we can dream, right?

Brilliant.

It'd appear that the GW supplements for the Space Marines won't focus on chapters, but on specific companies.
