Just started collecting Eldar just finished the first vehicle for them. Still working on a Spiritseer, Warpspiders, and Wraithguard. This is the color scheme I'm currently working on for them.

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."

"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."

very nice

I had the same question as Kaiser. Is it a tinted window or painted cockpit?

Airbrush tints? - The new ghost tints, I can imagine they would produce something like this? with a very fine coat

Favourite Game: When your Warboss on bike wrecks 3 vehicles simply by HoW - especially when his bike is a custom monowheel.

Thanks a lot. The cockpit was just a simple transparent airbrush layer. I wouldn't recommend or try that that again probably. It worked decent enough but the clear plastic really has problems with the paint beading up if you don't get the spray down just right.

The base is just three layers of cork over a skimmer base painted deep blue, sky blue, and then grey at the different heights. Then coated in layers of superglue. Really simple work but the outcome is very nice.

Your base steals the show for me. The Serpent itself is well done but that base is adds so much more to it.

You can also use stain glass paint from crafts stores. Does the same thing gives the same effect and works great on plastic. Ive used it on headlights to give the clear plastic a light blue tint.

Looks great! I love the stark contrasts. I do something similar with my canopies; if you use a wash followed by a layer of gloss varnish it looks roughly the same and it's really easy.
