I'd change up the shield and remove the obvious Necron-ness from it.

Its too necrontastic. But it has potential. Personal prefrence for me would be to have the sheild be held by a servo arm.

If not the ad mech cog in the center of the shield.
remove the Spine bits, perhaps add some cables connecting it to the back pack.

Really good idea using the techmarine body, really gets across the mechanical feel without too much work. As others have said so far, maybe it needs a bit more. What you have so far looks great though.

You'll want to get rid of the Mechanicus symbols and put IH symbols there instead.

I have started to add some cables connecting his backpack and shield. I have modified the shield by removing the necron icons however I really like the spine so I have left most of it but I will be connecting it to the cable.

Ordered some forgeworld bits, brass and resin bits plus the rhino doors for a more primed out ride.
