Okay, so it's not exactly a division, but this is the place where I'm going to be showing pictures of how my small force of Soviets for Bolt Action is progressing. I will update this as I work on the models.

Here's a group photo! ZA RODINU! ZA STALINA!

As a part of this fairly veteran force, I will (as the name suggest) make heavy use of Guards Rifle squads. That includes the use of Panzerfausts, which I have custom sculpted to save a buck or two.

Trademark of the soviets: free, inexperienced squads. These guys (and one girl) have molotovs, which gives them "tank hunter". URA!

Guards rifle squad with Panzerfaust and AT grenades. URAAA!

Finished up the first Guards Assault Squad. Decided to give them a muddy, grassy base instead of a winter one (mainly because I finally got ahold of the Soviet Army book and discovered that I could run a Kursk list...)

Next up are the snipers, Kliment Polzin and Kira Sokolova (I started naming the various russians BECAUSE I CAN! )

AAAAAAND I'm back!

And I have a finished tank with me. I'm going to be painting some infantry up. When we last met, I had a couple of squads. Now that I have a couple of games under my belt, I made a purchase. In this case, I bought the Plastic Soldier box of 28mm soviet infantry, so now I have a Shtrafbat horde. Anyways, here's the tank.
