So i made these cannons to use for my orks at a local tourney. I didnt have the cash to buy them new and i hate the models so i decided to scour the bitz bin for inspiration. But i couldnt not find suitable barrels. Then i seen my wife giving herself insulin and boom! My barrels were found. So using the caps from insulin pens some lego wheels, and other assorted bitz ive created these babies. Looking for some thoughts or opinions. Maybe even share your scratch built big gunz. Also included a custom big mek and typhus.

Dude the cannons are inspirational!!!!! Why have I never thought about using the lids from my wife's insulin pens!?!?!?! Some of the scratch builds I've made have called for tubes about that big. Awesome cheers!!!!

Kannons look awesome tbh, that was a neat find Im always trying to be on the look out for useful bits around the house but I often forget You've added enough detail to take them to a stage where I wouldnt have known they weren't scratch built plasticard tubes, very nicely done mate

Oh and the painting on typhus is looking sweet sadly the shots aren't perfect so picking out the detail is a little harder, but I really like the decaying green used on the armour and how its blended.

Thanks all for the feedback, yeah srry im using the camera on my tablet and my photo box has now been turned into my indoor priming station.im kinda lost on how to paint the kannons though. Ive got them painted to the base of how i paint most my orky things. Pretty much rusty bare metal. My klan is mainly red with checker board details. Im not certain if that would take away from the big gunz or not.
