Without regards to your painting skills, if you're going to be a commission painter, the first thing you probably should invest in is a better camera.

What you're selling is something fundamentally visual. Visions which are only being hampered by small, grainy phone camera pictures. Getting a light box wouldn't hurt either.

Yeah, solid advice. I have a decent camera, or rather my fiance' does, but I'm terrible with it. I'll ask her to get me some good quality shots.

As to a light box, I actually do have one built, it's got some black backing, etc. I really should use it more.
