Euphoria Miniatures is a game made by the Spanish company Resina Planet.
Set in the year 2073 Euphoria is a sci-fi 28mm skirmish wargame that has recently finished their first Indiegogo, and have had a successful campaign.
The game aesthetics and background has a really 80's vibe to it, and it reminds me of classic action films such as The Running Man o Battle Royal.
We start with the premise that the human race has reached a status of total peace and harmony among ourselves including complete religious and political tolerance, wars have ended all together, no signs of famine but not everything could be perfect. Humans will always have some kind of violent streak deep inside and to release all this anger and violence a new TV programme is going to be broadcast, Euphoria T.V.
The actual game features a set of characters -eight, pushed up to 13 after the indiegogo campaign- where each miniature has it's own special powers, weapons, life points and so on. Each miniature also costs a certain amount of points and in order to make your team you have a total of 1000 points, of which you can also spend on add-ons, like grenades, or medpacs.
Each game is a new episode of Euphoria TV where each team must aniquilate the other in order to win. Other objectives can be made, like capturing barrels, or flags, or whatever you can come up with. A standard game lasts for about an hour aprox, and is fairly easy to play.
As a curiosity in spite of being a Spanish Game are game measurements are made in inches.
