Well I may still add some tufts of grass or rocks, the base looks kind of plain. The picture is grainy, but by leaving the base white, it shows thru the cracks in a kind of neat effect you would expect to see on a recently dry lake or sea bed with salt veins running everywhere.

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.

I know, and I thought I scraped good enough, but white lets you hide NOOOOOOOOOOOCCCCCCCCCCIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGG. On the shoulders are some greenstuff fur cloaks, and greenstuff ropes with medalions holding them on. I was going for this kind of look.

Again, im no expert. This is the best I can do...or best I am willing to spend time on one model for. More into the game/converting new neat stuff than painting.

Looks nice, but you probably should have painted the base black or dark brown before applying the new stuff. The white primer is peaking through and spoiling it.

hmm maybe it looks bad in the pic, but up close it has a salt flats kind of look, pretty neat actually. Photography dosent really show it well.
Also I can water down beastial brown to an ink and just fix it.

I like the biker and bike but not the base. I think a darker undercoat would have worked better. Then again I don't like that new GW basing kit so...

The black recesses are too big. Looks good aside from that, though.
