Since my brother and I got (back) into Mordheim, we had plans for building our own table. Unfortunatly, we don't have the space for it. Fortunatly, some friends of us who live outside the city do. But we can't just build a table and then just leave it there. So for christmas, my brother and I are both painting them a Mordheim gang of their own. M@max is painting some Orks and Goblins, based on miniatures from Heroquest and I scrounged through my bitz boxes and actually found more than enough models for a decent Undead gang. I know I'm a terribly slow painter, but these suckers got to be done by christmas. So let's get going.

As you can see, the gang consists of a Vampire, a Necromancer, one Ghoul and two Wolves. I recently found two more Zombies, which brings their number up to 3 and the Ogre was just too perfect not to use.
I plan to paint most of the models in pale green and brown tones, except the Necromancer and the Vampire, the latter of which will get a bright red armor, like those classic GW Blood Dragons or whatever they're called.

Some lovely models here where are most of them from.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

I have no idea tbh. I scrounged most of them from other people's bitz boxes during the last 10 years. The Vampire is actually an old mini my brother once painted BEFORE he started playing Warhammer.

Cool I really like the more esoteric models myself.

So, the gang's done. I didn't out in quite as much work in as I put in my usual army miniatures, but this had to be done fast. Altough my brother told me they look better than the Orks he painted.

This will be it for this Blog then, at least until the gang gets their first battle, which could be quite some time, since we haven't even started building the table yet.
