Finally got to finish the Nurgle lord on a bike. Counting the Scythe as a lightning claw or Black "Mace" and has his other hand a PF. Has his bubble wrap bikers, two flamers, and champ with PF. Still have to add more details and get their basing done. Comments n crits welcome. Again, still a WIP.

Looks great! However, IMHO you should do some nurglish conversions on the lord as well and not just the bike. I'm talking pustles and nurglings, and maybe some rotting armour. If you find the right parts, kitbashing works too.
Also, it would look kinda cool if the helmet was attached to the bike, and the head of the lord would be visible.

Trust me, will have a ton of stuff nurgled on him, hence the WIP status. I was waiting about a month for the scythe to get here. his glue hasn't even finished drying before I snapped the photos. waiting until he is finished hardening up and can start to work on the greenstuff.

Bubber: the fronts of the "normal" chaos bikers? My other bikers are made from looted ork bikes (green skins not the only looters haha!)
For The Lord, I cut the wheel off the normal chaos bike then added small plastic rod (added brass pin for extra support on wheel and handle bar side)
Used the chaos knights shields with greenstuff under to fill massive hole front of the ork bike. Also, normal chaos biker legs will NOT fit on ork bikes. Space wolf thunder calv legs fit perfectly.

My airbrush finally died last night so basing will go a little slow until my new one gets in. Did base coats on The Lord n bike, also a few details added on home and the bike (who wouldn't pick up a pair of hitch-hiking nurglings...) lord got some greenstuff loving too.

Lord base coated. Trying to decide what to make the scythe blade....full rusted look or go "powered" with a glow, thinking either orange or blues for contrast to the heavy greens... Again the scythe counts as either lightning claw OR "The Black Mace"

Cheers for the info Deathwisper - as I have the bikes already, mid-stuck together, I should be able to cut the front wheel off & add some rod.

I am waiting on a few items and I'll be modifying my slaanesh lord bike. Will take the "how to" photos then.

Small update for the biker lord. been very busy with a few other projects (Skaven Guard allies woot!) still can't decide the blade of the scythe. Powered up with glow or rusted metal...any idea's..?

I love the green stuff work and the distinctively different bikes.

The scythe is too big in my opinion, it looks like a horrible crash and burn waiting to happen. Of course we check reason and logic at the entrance to the hobby centre, but my eye still goes huh?

You should use the new GW paint.. I forgot it's name but it achieves good effects on brass and bronze. It's the turqoise technical paint...
Or you can just use any light blue or turqoise, water it down and apply to the recesses of the bronze trim.
You'll make the model look older and dirtyer like nurgle marines should be

The skulls on the bike mostly from funny enough a khorne standard that I hacked up

Nihilakh Oxide! That's the paint I'm talking about.
It would really make the bronze look more realistic.

Just got some of the oxide in stock at my GW here in Nakano. Was able to grab all the new ones but the rust paint ><
Will be trying out the oxide and nurgle rot shortly.
Once done will be complete with my nurgle army and time to start a tzeench thread! >
