Batman: Arkham City is one of my favourite videogames of this generation and once I heard there was actually a tabletop game I could barely contain my excitement. What I could contain, surprisingly so, was my wallet. Damn, that game is expensive. I didn't buy any miniatures until a recent trip to Berlin and even then it was only 3 minis. But now I really want to get into it, so I asked my brother to get me more models for christmas. I don't know what I'm getting, but I am looking forward to painting them like I rarely do.

Bane was the first mini and he was really fun to paint. I considered for a moment to convert him a bit to make him look more like classic Bane, then decided against it, because there are just too many details on the model that give him that distinctive Arkham look. The Ledger Joker is actually a christmas present for a friend who goes totally nuts for Joker. Green Arrow should be finished next, you might notice that I added a little something to his chin. Though I might rip it off and try to do it a bit smaller.
I really dig how colorful this game can be. The Arkham games are quite grey, but I always liked how colorful some of Batman's enemies are.

Let me know what you think.
