Hi this is my first time posting on this site. While i have been painting models for 2yrs now i have recently got into 40k.
I bought this box set of ebay , i chopped and changed a few things there are a few mistakes on it which i will short out towards the end
Be great to have some pointers and feedback.

Looking good so far.

The nmm on the sword makes it look like a light saber rather than metal. It looks good if thats the effect you want.

I think the tabard could use more contrast, brighter lights, darker darks, and more mid tones for depth.

Post when you are done its looking really good.

It is really, really good but if you are looking for suggestions:

- a bit more depth in the folds of the cloak
- the sword looks just a bit bent
- the bolter muzzle holes look a bit off center
- left toe needs some touch-up as it looks like paint flaked off?

You can correct the barrel holes by filling with milliput and redrilling. Don't use greenstuff to fill; it's a devil to level off nicely.

A bit more contrast on the face will help, and the cloak's begging for a bit of freehand.

Just some simple hem lines in white/bone would look good I think.

I also think some sort of pattern/design on the cloak itself would do a lot. Here are some photos to inspire you.
