In about a month, my wife is getting a job interview at IBM at their watson research lab. There's a decent chance that I'm going to be spending a few days in New York based in Mt. Kisco, and a odds-on chance I might well be moving there in a few months.

FLGSs being as difficult as they are to find on google, I thought I'd drop a thread and see if someone on dakka knows what's up in that general area. I'm looking mostly for 40k/WHFB, but I'm also eyeing to getting into an RPG group of some sort.

That's a bit south of me; I'm north of Albany. I do try to keep track of whenever someone asks about New York gaming, and know that there are a few people down in that neck of the woods.

Are two threads, on will take you a bit north, the other down to the city. You might also want to look into crossing the border into Connecticut/New Jersey depending on exactly where you end up. But those are far enough outside my zone, I'll not even hazard suggestions. If you do want to range as far north as the capital district, I can offer some more concrete suggestions.
