What I don't quite understand is why everyone is getting excited about some drawings that anyone could have come up with...sure, some of them are based on pictures from Codexs and such, but why does this credit a large amount of excitement. It's hardly proof that flyers are going to be released at all...it's more just some fan's hope... at least that is how it seems to me.
If they were so CAD images then I'd get excited and start to think there was something coming along but these are rudimentary drawings!?!

Flyers ARE coming out. The price lists have been released to stores, complete with SKUs... it's confirmed now. Bit late in the game to be skeptical of this.

The drawings are so they don't get in trouble, or accidentally out a source. They're a "better than nothing" solution to trepidation about posting pics too early.

Except my excitement comes from my FLGS telling me preorders for them are availible, not because this thread said so. I came here to check for pictures or find any further info (such as stats) and now I have a pretty good idea.

Sadly, if the ork flyer stats are correct I probably wont buy one for a while.

so instead of SKU's and pricing from GW to FLGS, you would believe it more if someone posted pics? if I google Ork bomma i get tons of pics of player conversions, and some are very convincing models I could post here.

I would believe a picture more than the drawings here, these drawings simply have other evidence to back them up... Yes, and you will get forgeworld versions also. By pictures I mean leaked pictures from GW, for example the ones that you see on the back pages of WD from an army release.

I agree. I was on the fence about the Stormraven when it first appeared, and have come to like it, but the Stormtalon just looks wrong. It doesn't look like a Marine vehicle. The Bommer looks fantastic - I'll be buying more than one of those!

Wow. They managed to out-chibi the Chibihawk.

The Storm Talon is just ridiculous looking. If the assault cannon mount under the nose was about half the size it would help somewhat... and would also mean that to land it's not balancing on its forward weapon...

The Bomba is just ... boring. They took a generic plane design, added some oversized exhausts and some 'teeth' and called it an Ork Bomba. Colour me unimpressed.

The only one of these that I'm overly excited about is the Necron one... that's pure sex in plastic.

Disappointing, since the Necron one is the only one that I wouldn't have been interested in buying, as it won't fit with my 2nd ed 'crons. Guess I'll be scratchbuilding my air support for my Orks and Marines instead.
