So, I've been intrigued with what I've seen from Stronghold Assault. The Void Shield Generators and the Promethium Pipes seem very interesting. But as far as I know, there aren't official models for either, am I right? So how large should they be? How big is unreasonably large?

Given there are no specific models for either as of yet, pretty much anything goes. That said, talk it over with your opponent just to be sure you are both on the same page before deploying them.

It reads very much like the Aegis defence line.
The data sheet tells you how many sections you get.

True. This is why I was suggesting using the Aegis as a guide line, since it's the most similar.

For my Promethium Pipes I am going with 6" Long and either 3" or 4" short(and also making some of the shorts either enter the Ground as end-caps or Bending for turns).

For my Void Shield generator i used an old CPU Fan screwed to a board that I am putting a roof and battlements on

You think 3x3 or 4x4 is too large for a Void Shield generator?

4x4 would probably be the minimum I would go with, it needs to have a battlement on top remember; and being a guard player I naturally go for 10 men on the battlements.

It would be a small building up to 6x6, any larger than a Small building would probably start pushing it for your opponents

I was thinking 3x6 or 4x6 for the pipes, and maybe 5x5 or 6x6 for the generators.

The Pipes are walls, not buildings.

they should be at most 1x6 for the long sections

The void shield seems to work well using a bastion, without the middle section. So, just put the battlements on the base and stick one of the comms relays on. Seems to be the closest thing GW does that fits the description.

Apparently GW Digital Edition's Facebook said a Vengeance Weapons Battery without a gun would be an appropriate size for a Void Shield Generator.

And if you have any rule-issues just ask the canteen-lady at GW HQ.
She is hired by GW, you see.

I thought that at first, but can't really have much battlements on there, which it must have.

For the pipeline I'd make it the same as the aegis, for void shields use the vengeance battery bases. Or red solo cups if you are a cheapwad.

How about if I am going to use Red Solo Cups a base around which to build my own Void Realy Network because I simply do not have the cash to run out and buy Vengeance Batteries?

An overturned Mushroom container would work, and have room for the roof to be battlements as required(Solo cups only have enough space for a single dread base).

Well that's the trade off, you either make the things big enough to have sizeable battlements or you do the old solo cup version and assume it can only hold 5 models.

Then go nuts. It was a legitimate suggestion for those who cant afford the vengeance battery route.
