Hello all, this is my first primarch model that I have finished. Obviously, it's the Forgeworld Lorgar. Aside from some gripes with how fiddly the weapon parts were (it actually arrived a little bit broken and I also snapped a piece on accident...a piece that was so small that it had no business being its own piece) I really liked this model. I chose to not attach his cape or pistol because, well, the pistol is silly looking and when I put the cape on without gluing I liked the look of him better without it.

The base is the only part that I'm really unsure about, I did some drybrushing on it after I took this pic to clean up how pink it looked. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with how he turned out.

I also recommend clicking on the picture because you'll get a better resolution pic that you can zoom in on. I'm particularly proud of his face.

Very nice.
You are clearly a very gifted painter.
Can you add the after drybrushing picture please for comparison?

This is some nice work. The face and armor are both really well done, to say nothing of that great base. My only feedback would be to consider going back to black on the hands and trying for a smoother black-to-grey with your highlights

Wow, thank you!

I wish that I had a better camera to use for you guys. I've been meaning to make that investment but just haven't been able to get myself to buy a camera in favor of more models.
