I had a lot of fun painting this guy. I just randomly decided to do the waagh banner at the last minute. I think it turned out pretty good.

Very nice! As a Black Templar player myself I really love this model, and I think you've done it pretty well but I have a few gripes. One, your plasma gun barrel looks a bit messy, as does the glow and your scrolls could do with some more refining and I'm not a big fan of the base but I guess it's your choice :3 Other than that, awesome!

I cant disagree with you on the pistol. I was trying out that new oxide paint and didnt really know what to do with it. The base came out great IMO except that the grass got pressed down for some off reason.

Ah, the oxide paint.. I mainly just use it on my aquilas, I impulse bought it and now I feel like I need to use it x'3 The Cracked Earth paint is a hell of a lot more useful! Check out the terminators in my gallery

Very nice termies. They need more blood though

The most fun thing about warhammer to me now if flicking blood on my freshly painted models.

I love the cracked earth paint but I recently found some awesome base tutorials that kinda make it obsolete, at least for your special high detail base models. My girlfriend plays tyranids though and was contemplating partially painting her tervigon with the earth paint.

Yeah she found a way to incorporate her fingernail painting youtube videos with painting her models. Also she thinks Tyranids are magestic...

In her army they are light pink faded to dark blue killing machines.
