So I plan to convert some rough riders, I wanted to use empire knight horses, the Victoria conversion kit, and a series of other bits. I got my empire knight horses in the mail today and I was kind of surprised how armored up they are. im not totally sure I like this, but at the same time, its 40k so it'd make sense to have all this armor on your horses. I wanted to know what your guys thoughts were? maybe just get new horses, possibly hand gunner horses, or any bits you could suggest to armor up my infantry to fit the horses but keep the 40k feel,

Combined with the Vic Lamb RR kit I think they could look OK. It makes sense for the horse to have some armour.

Really depends on how you model the rider I guess.

I used the Dark Elf riders to use a rough riders but look forward to whatever you come up with.
