Good morning ,
I am new to the hobby and wanted to share my first model that is almost finished now. I would really like you to comment and critique the modelling and especially the paintjob .
This is a greater demon of Nurgle. I sculpted almost all of the body myself, except for the left arm, which was taken from the dark vengeance box set. That took me around 10 hours. The Paintjob was much harder, as I have never painted a miniature or used brushes at all . The first round I messed up and had to re-basecoat the body for a second try. It is not finished yet, there are smaller details like the eye on the hand, the wounds etc , but the bulk of the work is done.
The base for the model is a little bit bigger than the hellbrute base ( i added a picture with regular units for a size comparison).
I have to apologize for the low quality cellphone pictures, I do not own a good camera.
Could i actually play this demon in a game of fantasy or 40k ? As what unit could it count ?
