Made this guy out of a Rauthoros Demon (Bones Kickstarter mini), just had to cut off the extra arms and made his Lash of Khorne out of the tentacles of an old Stone Lurker pinned together. A little boiling and reposing, and voila. The dude on his base is one of the heavy weapons cultists from DV, which will painted as a Slaaneshi degenerate who got what he deserved. Total cost: approx. $20 for everything on this piece, a lot cheaper than the actual GW Thirster which doesn't even look like the one in the new codex.

Anyway, looking for suggestions/general thoughts before I slap on the primer. He has Warp-Forged Armor so I really want to give him a breastplate from somewhere, but idk what to use.

Is it me or does the weapon-arm look strange somehow? Maybe another shot from the side.

As for armour, I personally wouldn't bother too much, you'd just cover the existing details.

Well I like it but, They usually have an Axe and typically a bit bigger. IMO

The weapon arm is kind of arched upward because the model originally has four arms, but maybe it's just the angle that looks weird, might try to make it a little lower or twist it and post a pic later.

That's the FW Bloodthirster, which is like two times the size of the GW one, lol. Mine is fairly close to the size of a Daemon Prince, but the wings on mine are even bigger, my pic really doesn't show how truly huge his wings are, which might make up a little for his body size. I had to glue pennies on the front of his base just to keep him from falling over.

Also, he has that hand dagger axe thing, which is pretty much an axe without a long handle, so it's my counts-as axe.

I know it's a FW Bloodthirster and it's the scale it's supposed to be. The GW one is Rubbish. Understand I only stated my opinion. I felt if you where going to use a none GW Bloodthirster there are other options is all. It's a your mini do what you want.

Well you have a good point, I'm not saying you didn't or trying to be abrasive. Hmmm, I might mount his base on something or put him on a rock to make him a little taller and hopefully more imposing.
