I'm getting carried away with starting new things, and not so good at finishing them. Here's a 1/35 scale 20ft shipping container. Foamcore, plasticard, corrugated cardboard, 1mm solder.

Finished my scratchbuilt barricades. Really really happy with the highly weathered steel plate. My wife actually asked me where I got the old rusted metal, and genuinely doubletaked when I told her it was black plastic and balsa.

Finished a GW Sanctum Imperialis. Really basic tabletop, totally done with the airbrush apart form the bronze/gold details. Think the bronze spires need a run with Nihilakh Oxide.

It was bugging me, so I had to give it some more detail. Corrosion on the spires, some more detail and drybrushing on the door and some shading with weathering powder. Much happier now.

Nice work. You've got some really great looking projects here. I especially like the strongpoint - it has a real "pre-fab" look to it, and doesn't have the typically overwrought "imperial" look to it, which is great to see, since there would necessarily be a wide range of architectural styles in the Imperium. The weathered sanctum has also come up extremely well. As did the tank traps for that matter. As I said - great stuff all around!
So it looks like 7th Ed is going to end up with a lot of VP to track. And I had a Raspberry Pi and an LCD just sitting around doing nothing. Scenery project!
Any suggestions as to what I should build it into? Was thinking a big electronic billboard on the side of an Imperial Bastion or something. Going to have hardware buttons for advancing the turn and the VP count.
