Hello everyone! This is the first tutorial we've made and we hope you like it! We go into detail about how to create a snow effect.

Nice vid!

You (?) were a bit hard to understand at times because of flat intonation, varying volume and too loud background music. If you want to do a series of videos you might want to record the spoken text separately. Makes it also easier to mix it correctly with the music.

But good visuals, and a spot-on tutorial!

I personally prefer to sprinkle baking soda on the mix as a last step, which gives it a more crystalline look of powder snow but that is really only a question of taste - and both methods can be combined, of course.

Looking forward to more vids from you!

nice Video friend.

I've experimented with snow bases by dampening the base with a cloth and applying a thin layer of Gorilla Glue.
When Gorilla Glue dries it expands 2 -3x .... you can then paint it ... or flock it to be a grassy knoll .. anything really!

I now have to try the Baking soda as stated above!
Thanks!!

Wot's faster than a warbuggy, more killy than a warbike, and flies through da air like a bird? I got no bleedin' idea, but I'm gonna find out.

Very nice tutorial, looking at doing snow bases for mug Ogre army.

Out of curiosity did you do anything special to get your base to where it was before the snow video?

We are planing on creating the tutorial of how to make that specific base without snow on it.

No 2 different products, baking powder will expand and fiz when glue is added.

Edited my post to avoid further misunderstandings. I was talking about baking soda, as well. Sorry about the confusion.

FYI I subscribed to your youtube page. You guys make excellent tutorial vids! Easy to understand and follow, actual competent lighting. Wish I could say the same about all the tutorial vids I've seen on the internets.
