So after three days of constant painting I have decided that instead of starting a new thread every time I get something painted up I'll start a Blog here on dakka! Hopefully it'll also keep me painting, knowing that someone might actually be waiting to see what I've got painted next.

Unfortunately this will be a very boring first post as I have no decent pictures of what I do have painted atm, so instead I'll list exactly what I have atm that needs painting.

2 Open Fire boxes worth of infantry
6 stugs, although three of them might just go on ebay due to missing a small part of the barrel and it annoys me.
three nebelwerfers
Konigstiger
Panther
4 Pak 40 anti tank guns.

If I can get some decent pictures tonight I'll post them up, but for now you'll have to check out one of my older threads for pictures of what I've done so far.

So, parents decided now to tell me the camera works, so I snapped these quick shots of my finished and wip models. Hopefully more to come in the next few days, as the list suggests I have a LOT to get painted!

Thanks, and I too thought there were very few FoW blogs! Unfortunately my citadel fine detail brush died on me today, so I'm currently using the tip of an army painter wargamers regiment brush, which is making the details a little bit more difficult. I've heard very good things about Winsor and Newton though, and I'm thinking of picking up a 00 series seven. Anyway, the first Nebelwerfer could be done by later tonight, if I can get the rest of the crew painted!

So, as of 10 minutes ago I now have the first Nebelwerfer and another infantry base all based up. I know the pictures are blury but the camera is almost out of battery and I have no time to set up for proper pictures.

The idea behind the basing is that they can be used as if either fighting through france, bocage etc. Or fighting in a russian forest somewhere. Overall I'm really happy so far, I just need to get the rest done now!

An update? Is this possible...am I...am I really updating a blog???

Indeed I am! Here's a few pictures of what I have painted and what I'm currently getting done.

I've finished 1 Pak40, the pak40 command team, two infantry bases and a nebelwerfer. Unfortunately I have a lot left to do, and currently have a panzerschrek team on my desk to have their awful mold lines removed.

Hopefully I wont leave it so long between now and my next update, but stay tuned for more of LazzurusMan's FoW!!!

So, as promised another small update!

The second Pak40 is complete and based, and personally I think it looks great alongside the rest of it's platoon! I've also painted up and started to base the anti tank section of my Grenadierkompanie HQ.

Also, just out of curiosity, is anyone actually following this blog? I get this awful sense that just posting on here for the sake of posting!

till the next update,

I at least I'm reading it when I find it updated and according to the views counter, there are more lurkers around, worry not

I don't understand a thing about FOW, nor am I an expert on historical uniforms, so I can't really comment on your work besides this:

They are looking pretty awesome so far . I know those miniatures are tiny, so the detail you are able to give them is pretty impressive!

Love the bases overflowing with green too, they really look like they are in the thick of a forest ambushing an allied collumn Those sneaky germans.

Cheers, the idea is to base them in such a way that they can look like they're fighting through a forest. Doesn't matter where. France, Germany, Russia etc. That way they can look right fighting almost any other late war army.

So, after a week of work I have very little to show for it, I have a grenadier team and two command teams painted, but no pictures, and today I airbrushed my three stugs!

I'm really happy with the camo, but the wash I applied to one of them was a little too heavy, and my attempt at the Wehrmacht cross on the other is...well...less than impressive. What do you guys think and how can I improve them?
