Here is a finished Trollblood Mauler that I completed this week. Overall I am very happy with how he turned out with exception of the joint that shows on top of his back where I missed it with the modeling putty upon assembly. This was my first PP model that I had assembled though. These PP models require a lot more attention than GW models.
Good lord, that's ugly. As in, it's so well painted he's a total brute! Absolutely love that, dude. The skin is so lifelike and realistic. How'd you achieve that effect?
Thanks! I used ground up artist grade pastels. A lot of the pro painters use them (gotta learn from the pros). I stumbled upon quite a few videos demonstrating tips and tricks on YouTube on how to use them. My use of them is not quite as subtle as when the pros do it. I'm a little heavy handed on a lot of things... I try to pass it off as my personal style lol
