Hi all, I've put together a lowly-looking Lvl1 Dark Elf Sorcerer out of an old Dark Eldar Wych and the arms/hand from a previous edition DE spearmen. I was happy with the way it looked and started to paint it but I now think she needs a cloak. Can anyone recommend a suitable cloak donor or will it be too tricky to find one which will easily fit? Are there any alternatives to finding a cloak which could work? I'm very much a beginner here so 'make a custom cloak out of greenstuff' would be a bit beyond my abilities, this is the first conversion I've attempted (other than 20yrs ago when I apparently thought it would be a great idea to cut all the arms/weapons off my lead Skaven so I could make a Bloodbowl team with them.....).

Since putting a wash over it I realise I also need to either shave her errrrr 'left cheek' more or smooth it off somehow, it's still noticeably ribbed. I also need to swap the hands for the smaller ones off the new DE warriors, after looking at the photos I've realised the hands are too big!

I guess it's time to learn how to use greenstuff then! I've found the following article, doesn't look too much like rocket surgery.

Have you checked the WoC Marauder kit? It has several cloaks in it, and of different types. You got a fur one with a skull hanging on it, and one made of flayed skin. Both are in the kit several times.

Ooo thanks that looks like a possibility - I've ordered 6" of green stuff on ebay, if that goes badly I'll try and do something with a Marauder cloak.
