Over the next Month or 2 I'm going to be blasting out some nice little add ons for my WOC army.

These new add ons will be a Daemon Prince (in case I one day want to go all out powerplay and run a flying Nurgle DP) but also in case one of my champions/BSB rolls nicely on eye of the gods. Whilst its a crazy long shot and I have never seen a Daemon Prince appear I suppose its worth having the model for Justin ( Mr Justin Case).

I want a Daemon Princess just in case my Sorceror Lady decides to Daemon out also. It for some reason bothers me that she would turn into a male Daemon and not a female Daemon.

I am also going to need an Uncle Festus for Fantasy Doubles in (May I think... can't remember) this is because my team mate wants me to run Festus in a unit of warriors instead of flying nigh unkillable disk bitch. I'm listening to him because I have never beaten him lol.
I like the Festus model but it feels totally wrong for the rest of my army so I'm going for an armoured Grim reaper kind of thing.

As for spawn I'm not a big fan of tentacles so I'm going to use forgeworld skin wolves. I think werewolves can be just as random, mindless and dangerous as spawn anyway

Apologies up front for my miniatures photography, I think I may need a macro lens and a brighter room lol.

First up is the Nurgle Daemon Prince, now as you will see throughout this I'm not going for the pus, vomit and boils Nurgle. I'm going to be representing the fact that he is a Nurgle Daemon Prince by adding lots of pale skin, dark dead looking extremeties of the body in painting and lots of rust and verdigris.

I'm also sticking to my snow and winter theme and giving him an ice sword and sheild which will be molded from clear cast resin.

Next is to make the cast for the Resin, I really wish I'd have used putty for this but I didn't have any and I'm impatient to get moving on things once I have an idea.
So I used liquid latex, which is going to take an age to dry because I poured to much in and couldn't be bothered to scrape some out... ooops.

And so there is less of my rambling I'll just throw some pictures up of what I've been doing whilst waiting for latex to dry.

And the base with a little rock for hime to pose against, just looks a lil more dynamic I think.

And building up the stature.

Ok so latex mold is done but it shrunk more than I expected warping the mold, so before i poured in the resin I levelled it as best I could.

Whist waiting for the latex I started painting the rest of the DP as his name needed to be fully painted before being dunked in the resin to dry. (I want his icy shield to be frozen onto his arm).
I also did I back up green stuff mold quickly as i mixed too much resin anyway.

I also make a start on the Spawn/ Skin wolves and the 4th one arrived today from some top fella off ebay

Tomorrow I think I'm going to play with my new spray gun and wash the DP in a few layers of nuln oil and play with some effects on the skin wolves.

I Think the pain job on this fella is done now, just waiting for the clear cast to dry so I can add his other arm and his sword.

Then I'l apply a generous splattering of blood for the blood god and call it done.

Thoughts anyone?

GRRR had lots of problems with the clear cast resin, It is bubbling out of the mould like crazy. Going to try one last time before I come up with another solution.

As the bitz I had been waiting for arrived from ebay I took a Daemon Prince time out and started on my Festus conversion.
I didn't realise how big the cloak was on the chaos sorceror from the manticore kit so that was a little bit of a pain, but overall i'm happy with the start made on it.

Festus conversion all ready for undercoat.

The black strap across his chest is a tiny little rubber hair tie, I wanted a strap for the sheild on his back but couldn't be bothered to green stuff it.

Someone suggested that I used jewellery chain which sounded really cool but I was too impatient to go and get some, I hope the paint takes to it ok :-s

Daemon Princess started.

I'm going to get rid of the snake heads i think and keep it like multiple tails instead of snakey bits.

I wanted to use the Hellebron torso aswell but it was too small so i stuck with the medusa torso BOOBS FOR CHAOS

ALSO the spawn... I'm using skinwolves as counts as spawn if I didn't already mention.

Probably could have got away with one or two but done 3, number 4 will be done soon.

Now I've got a few if i ever run a character with sword of change (I can call it wolf sword or something...)

Nearly finished nurgle daemon prince with his icy sword and shield.

Wow, the ice sword and shield came out amazing.

Thanks it took long enough! took 4 attempts. the resin kept bubbling up it was a pain.
