I see you chopped up the backpack to accommodate the missile launcher. If you don't have a $5 hobby saw you will love it for hack jobs like that. It's literally opens the door for better conversions across the board.

Are you happy with it? What do you want to improve?

im happy with it, it is probably the best infantry model (space marine) I have done yet, it looks much less blobby in person. im looking to improve anything really.

It's really a good start but lacks depth. Adding highlights to the edges of the armor will work wonders and isn't to difficult to do. Just take a lighter blue and add a thin line in areas you see fit.

You don’t need to base your minis, but at the very least go over the base with a coat of black to get rid of the WIP splatter. It’s the last step I do before something goes from the bench to the shelf.

For me I don't really see anything on the mini that 'Pops' out. Perhaps instead of blue lenses on the ML, why not try a more contrasting color?

That's my nickel's worth of critique though. I like it very much otherwise!

So the part of the backpack that you chopped off, is that very important?

Did you need to chop off the vent because I've assembled a number of these and never had any problems with clearance but maybe it's just the pose and yea he is very blue...nothing wrong with it but highlights would bring it to the next level. I don't do much highlights out of laziness but I'm only painting for my own satisfaction and to table top quality. From the gw line, Hoeth blue is one of my favorites it's more of a flat blue but lothern blue will give it a sharp pop!

Thanks for the feed back guys. I should note, this is ment to be table top, I realise I'm not by any means a good painter. I am doing the base, just wanted feed back first, and yes I had to. Chop off the vent, something was der ped, what colour would you suggest for highlights, should I just dry brush it on, or edge it?

Just a lighter color blue would work, I use 2:1 Altioc blue to white for my highlights though that may be a little to bright for you. It all depends on how much you want it to pop. And id to edge highlighting instead of drybrushing. Not that it cant be done right just everytime I try to drybrush Marines they end up looking all chalky.
