Hey guys. I'm thinking of re doing my plague marines with forgeworld stuff and am wanting to bring my paint scheme a bit more to the white side of the colour scheme than green. I want it to be evident that they were once white before being infested by nurgle. Here is my attempt at a helmet on a space marine I had laying around being useless. Let me know what you all think.
Cheers,
James

Difficult to tell from this pic mate, all I can say is that I would prob mix up an off white and use a watered down wash to 'tint' the paint for your desired effect.

To be honest, it doesn't spout Nurgle until sours and spewing puss in your face. Also several Death Guard mini's show parts of the armor grown together and growing wild. If you have some green stuff at your disposal give that a try.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers. |

It was just an attempt at the off white colour. I have forgeworld death guard packs that I'll be combining with forgeworld mk3 iron armour to make my marines so no chance of not enough nurgle. It was just the colour I was going for
Thanks for the replies

The off white colour looks good! In order to get them looking obviously Nurgley ul have to do a lot of washing ad stippling over it though, lots of rusted joints and rivets, chipping and streaked grime could look very cool
