I'm putting together a small dark mechanicum unit for dispaly purpose. It is just a work of kit bashing and green stuff that I do in my spare time.
I am inspired by the work of Blanche (some blogs like this one are quite useful) and also by what I see around here on Dakka.
I hope you like the concept and that it can be an inspiration to other users.
Here we go with the first one, its name goes by it self...
Enjoy!

Welcome aboard! I like the "twist", maybe he could be better with longer robes?

You shouldn't be worried about the one bullet with your name on it, Boldric. You should be worried about the ones labelled "to whom it may concern"-from Blackadder goes Forth!

Good point... I thought about the the robe beacuse I wanted to give a touch of red to the model, but i didn't want to cover its right side, to leave in plain sight the implants.
So I opted for something that in my intentions would seem more the remains of a tattered tunic, than real robes...

I like it and also the tiny robe. It makes me think that this creature has seen a Techpriest and wanted to emulate the look but, childlike, thought that draping a bit of red cloth over his head was more than enough. The naivety of that only serves to make the character even more creepy and horrible, which is great!

Another buddy. A flaming buddy. I took inspiration from the beatuifull models by CatPeeler's Flamers.
Here you can find his amazing post: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/248261.page

Both are very neatly painted but I really like the Bloodletter conversion, the mecha-daemon look always looks awesome to me, especially for 40K daemons. Great stuff!

Oh yesss... back in the days with Doom deamons' style... Thanks for the feedback!
Another bloodletter is coming down, but that one will be a bit more fantasy like.
