Having not seen many green skinned Daemon Princes I decided to have a go. Here's what I've got so far. Sorry for the bad pics, phone camera.

The armour is going to be Vajello gunmetal blue with silver trim, i've filled the very small gaps with a mix of lothren blue and sotek green and a touch of space wolves grey to give it the impression there's something otherworldy behind the chest plate and vambrace which I'm going to carry on into the shoulderpads. I liked the idea of a Tzeenchian DP who was formerly an Alpha Legion Librarian, still wearing the remnants of his armour and carrying his force axe.

Also have shoulderpads wings and kneepads and a loincloth to do.

He is like electric green, Im not sure yet if I like that or not still debating in my head. The blue armor is killer though! I think if your entire army was bassed around a green theme like that it would look quite good. Also the base looks great!

@ Zam, I kinda want a rainbow coaliton of princes lol. Be'Lakor is blue/purple and I want to do a third Daemon prince up as Carnage from Spider Man. I don't believe that a Daemonic army should look thematic past the Tzeenchian ones looking vaguely Tzeenchian, the Slaneshi ones looking erotic, the Khornate ones looking blood soaked and the Nurglish ones looking bubonic.

Ok apologies for the very crappy lighting, I'll be taking better shots off my SLR when he's completed.

The plate is completed. Carried on the idea from the chestplate into the shoulder guards and axe head. The Axe head i've painted with Revell gloss black then layered up greys over it using the following as a guide.



I added the horns from one of the other DP heads as this guy was once a Librarian and I wanted the Librarian symbol showing up on the force axe. It's not 100% perfect but the horns were a very late addition, next time I get an idea like that I'll do it properly.

Just the wings, rest of the axe and the tabard to go. I've got most of the layer work on the tabard done and i've just to finish it up. I want the axe haft to be obsidian too, with silver trim to match the armour.

Loincloth and buckle are done. Working on the axe now. Decided to go for a black gloss haft with silver details.

Very nice till now, but you must avoid using a flash when you take pictures. On the last one metallics shine right through and all the colors look washed out. I really dig the hulk scheme .

I've got serious painters block regarding this guys wings, specifically the membranes between them.

Should I do them blues, greens or gloss black.

Started the wings. What dya think?
