Pretty much as thread title, so either a 54mm scale or large 30mm scale in all likelihood, is intended for life as a Nurgle Prince with wings, so pose will need to allow for wings to be added if they don't feature. Also, if they're a bit bigger, no real issue, as my GDs are all FW (or FW sized) models, so slightly bigger is better than slightly too small.

I've tried the usual suspects (Reaper et al) and either haven't found anything, or anything I like, so probably looking at the lesser known or smaller volume boutique makers. Price is a secondary consideration to the right sculpt, and I'm willing to try to track down OOP minis if needed, as my need is definite, but not imminent.

Anyone with any ideas will be showered with Internet candy.

Thanks in advance.

You don't specify Fantasy or 40k, but maybe this guy from HiTech Miniatures: "Archfather Mortimer" better known as Mortarion, Daemon Primarch of the Death Guard

Spoiler:

There's also Lich Lord Terminus from Privateer Press (might be too steampunk-y though):

Thanks for the responses guys, unfortunately nothing hitting the jackpot there.

For further clarification, it is for a 40K Chaos Daemons army (so fantasy/sci fi is semi-moot) and one of my "things" with collecting this army is to use as few GW models as possible, where possible (which is a shame, as the C'Tan would have made a good starting point otherwise)

Still too small for you, unfortunately, but this is a really nice sculpt:

What about a Ringwraith from the fairly recent LOTR collectors mag?

Site says it's 54mm/1:29 scale.

Not sure on the quality of the material, but this could appear to make a good base for a conversion.

Grimtuff, eat as much Internet candy as you can stomach!

That's a brilliant suggestion, that range is pewter, so I can either paint over or completely strip it as necessary, and while the site you link doesn't seem to allow purchases anymore, I grabbed one in eBay for £8 incl postage, so for that money, it's totally worth a punt, even if ultimately the scale isn't right, I'll have a cool model of a Ringwraith (and I may well go back for the mounted one too, I got all excited when I saw that, thinking I could convert it to Death the horseman, complete with pale horse, which I could then model wings on, until I realised how daft an 80mm tall horse would look on table!)

I live to serve...

Never knew those things were pewter. Opens up a few conversion possibilities for myself.

Don't take it as gospel, but it was mentioned by one of the eBay listings I looked at (well, they said "lead" but we know that won't actually be the case.)

I'll either update here or drop you a PM when I have it in hand to confirm if you'd like?

It'd be appreciated. I assumed they were some kind of Clix type plastic.

Menhom is actually on my short list for one of the other two (I'm working towards three for each God with the associated GD for my collection) but wasn't quite the hooded, robed figure I wanted, he might make it on his own merits though.

I've toyed with the idea of beaky from Pegaso as a Tzeentch Prince, but remain undecided - you're definitely in the right ballpark for the sort of minis I'm looking at for various princes, but I've been working on the army for over 18 months now, so there isn't a lot that could be considered mainstream I've not checked out, so if anyone does have some real left field or small scale suggestions I'm happy to listen. (Do have most of the models either acquired or short listed though, but nothing that an epic sculpt I've not seen before couldn't reorganise.)
