Automatically Appended Next Post: i love the new technical paints they rock
Haha, I use the same paints on my Black Templars :3 They really are very good, and they're easy to get and you don't have to order them off the web like some of the other technicals around.
I love the grey and the generally muted colours, she looks fantastic and reminds me of a Ray Harryhausen monster. The snow (and even the flash on your light box which looks like a watery winter sun as seen atop some high mountain) makes the whole piece look incredibly epic. Brilliant stuff, love it!

Show me your god and I'll send you a warhead because my god's bigger than your god.
I really like the contrast between the muted tones on the skin and the slick, bloody parts on the body. The wings do look a bit flat in contrast though; I think it would look even better if the wing-membranes (if that's the right word for the leathery bits) were given a coat of gloss...

That is very well done. This model really translates well into a Daemon prince. It is also helpful because I'm using that model to make a Daemon prince too and this helps. Thanks for sharing.

I'm thinking about varnishing the wings and the snake skin parts but i'm not sur if that would be going to far and distract from the shininess of the blood effect.
