I took an old mark1 predator chassis I had laying around and crushed the front of it with a vise. It caved in nicely, but the big empty space inside really needs to be full of wreckage.

I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to fill it with. I was thinking I'd take a sheet of plasticard and drill holes to thread wires and maybe some scrap plastic through, but I'd be totally all over any additional tips you fine folks might have.

The plan is to have my shiny new imperial knight standing in the wreckage - which is being repainted Emperor's Children pink.

You could always place some benches in the back part if it is a transport. For the rest, I'd say armour plating and pieces of wire.

You could take a soldering iron to make melt holes to make it look like an explosion from a melta gun.

I'd take some inspiration from the cutaway poster of the predator floating around out there.

Also, that poor little tank :(

This may help. 40k Tanks are based off of history.

I know Zuul, I felt pretty horrible right after I did it, but it's for a good cause. : )

That's a very good point Sammoth. I hadnt really considered looking up real tanks, I was just trying to think of what bits would look correct. : )

Work in progress.

Definitely should have painted those before I glued them in. Hard to get at now.

I've never done Emperor's Children before, so recommendations on the paint job are welcome.

I like it but I think it needs a little more in there?

Personally I would get a skeletal head in power armour and then melt it/paint it to look burnt out and put him in there fused to the bulkhead.

Also the whole thing looks a little 'clean' needs more scorch marks etc.

Could definitely use some weathering. I also second the scorch marks.
