I've finally painted an entire army!! Woo. It's a 1000 points and I made a little display stand to show what units I need to work on and how the army looks as a whole. Looking at the pictures I can see many areas I need to improve upon. I used a homemade dip of wood stain and paint thinner for most of the army and this can be seen in the reflective surfaces. The dip was great for adding detail though. The last time I used to dip was on the commissar and the chimera on the right. I put them right in the sun to dry because I was impatient and the brown looks much more like dust compared to the rest of the army. So I will touch up over time. For now, behold. The idea was that an Inquisitor requisitioned this small Imperial Guard army and they are now dedicated to the Inquisition's service. So you may see the odd =I= symbol here and there.
